Our Work
Spider lifts in tight backyards, climbers in big maples, logs coming down in sections and brush going through the chipper. These are our own job photos.
A tree service gallery should show the work as it really looks, not a studio shot. These photos come from jobs in and around Rochester NY: big trees beside houses, branches hanging over roofs, trunks cut down in sections, and the cleanup that follows. Some are tidy. Some are not, because a tree over a chimney is never tidy.
Look at how the work is done. Where a yard is tight, you will often see a tracked spider lift reaching over a roofline instead of a bigger machine rolling across the lawn. Where a tree has to come down in pieces, you will see a climber with ropes and a chainsaw working top down. After the cuts, a bobcat loader and chipper handle the heavy part of the cleanup. If you want the details behind any of these jobs, our tree removal service in Rochester NY and tree trimming in Rochester NY pages explain the process.
The shots with a lift bucket beside a roofline or chimney show why we use a tracked spider lift. It rolls on narrow tracks, fits through a standard gate, and lets a crew member reach over a house or shed without a ladder. That is the safer way to prune high branches near wires or take limbs off a tree that hangs over a roof.
Some trees are too tight, too soft in the ground, or too tangled for any machine. In those photos you will see a climber in a harness with ropes and a saw, working through a big canopy one limb at a time. Rigging lets each piece come down under control rather than dropping onto the lawn, a fence, or a roof.
A trunk cut into sections on the ground means the tree is down and the real work of hauling is next. Large removals near houses are done in pieces, not felled whole. If you are weighing the cost of a big tree, our tree removal cost guide and the post on how long tree removal takes explain what to expect.
Brush through the chipper, logs cut to size, a bobcat loader carrying the heavy sections. Cleanup is half of a good job, and it is what separates a tidy yard from a mess. For work after a storm, see our storm damage tree removal page and our tips on emergency storm cleanup. Stump jobs are explained on the stump grinding page.
