Please read these terms carefully before using our services or website.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and A-One Tree Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a tree service business operating in Rochester, NY and surrounding Monroe County areas. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Offered

A-One Tree Services provides professional tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, land clearing, emergency tree removal, and storm damage cleanup. All services are performed by experienced professionals using industry-standard equipment.

2. Free Estimates & Service Agreements

All free estimates provided via our website, phone, or in person are subject to an on-site inspection before final pricing is confirmed. No work will commence without a written or verbal agreement between the Customer and A-One Tree Services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger jobs, a deposit may be required prior to commencement of work. Unpaid balances beyond 30 days may be subject to collection action.

4. Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and adequate access to the work area
• Notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or buried structures prior to work beginning
• Keep people and pets clear of the work area during service
• Ensure vehicles and moveable property are cleared from the work zone

5. Liability & Property Damage

A-One Tree Services is fully licensed and insured. We take every precaution to protect your property, including driveways, lawns, gardens, and structures. However, we are not liable for incidental damage caused by the inherent weight or movement of heavy machinery (such as spider lifts, bobcat loaders, or chippers) necessarily used to complete services safely. The Company's liability for any damage shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment. For emergency services, cancellations must be communicated as soon as possible. Repeated same-day cancellations may result in a scheduling fee.

7. Weather & Safety Delays

Tree work is subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule any job where conditions present an unreasonable safety risk to our crew or your property. We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new appointment at no additional charge.

8. Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not use the site to transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content. All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and service descriptions — is the property of A-One Tree Services and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Monroe County, New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
